Privacy Policy

PropertyKart (“we”, “us”) operates the PropertyKart Android app (com.propertykart.app) and this website at https://propertykart.co.in. This policy describes what information the app processes based on its current implementation.

1. What PropertyKart uses today

• Supabase Auth — Google Sign-In and email/password authentication for the PropertyKart project only.
• AsyncStorage — stores your authentication session on your device.
• In-app data — property browsing, saved items, listings, and activity are handled in the app during your session (not synced to a remote PropertyKart listing database in the current build).

PropertyKart does not use advertising SDKs, payment processors, continuous GPS location tracking, contacts access, or third-party analytics in the current app implementation described here.

2. Information we collect

Authentication

• Google Sign-In: Google provides an ID token; we exchange it with Supabase Auth. We do not receive your Google password.
• Email sign-in: Your email and a securely hashed password are stored in PropertyKart Supabase Auth.
• Session tokens: Stored on your device via AsyncStorage.

Profile information

Depending on sign-in method and what you enter, the app may process:

• Name (including from Google profile metadata when available)
• Email address
• Phone number (if you provide it)
• City and role (owner, dealer, or builder)
• Profile photo URL (for example from Google metadata)

Property and app activity

When you use the app, it may process:

• Property listing details you enter (location, price, type, description, amenities)
• Photos you select on your device for listings
• Search queries and filters (city, locality, project, landmark)
• Saved properties, saved searches, recently viewed items, and inquiries within the app session

City and locality are typed by you; the app does not continuously collect precise GPS location.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate you and maintain your session
• Display property discovery, search, and listing features
• Respond to support and account deletion requests
• Maintain security and comply with law

4. Third-party services

• Supabase — authentication backend for PropertyKart
• Google — Sign-In when you choose that option

We do not sell personal information.

5. Storage and security

• Authentication traffic uses HTTPS
• Email passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth
• Sessions persist on your device through AsyncStorage

6. Retention and deletion

Authentication data is retained while your account is active. You can log out to clear the local session. Delete your account from Profile → Delete account in the app, or follow Delete Account. Permanent deletion may require support follow-up if the server-side deletion function is not yet enabled.

7. Children

PropertyKart is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
